The Shrine of Syed Badiuddin Zinda Shah Madar is situated at Makanpur (Tehsil-Bilhoor) in the district Kanpur.

The Madariya Sufi brotherhood is the India’s oldest and largest Sufi brotherhood. It has been integranl part of Indian Culture and history.


The two annual fairs held at the shrine. The first one during the “Basant Panchanmi” by Hindus and second one during the Islamic month of Jammadul Awwal which falls between 18-24th April every Year. The fairs are attended by both the communities in large number.
