Sri Venkateswara University was established in the year 1954 in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh and since its inception has been imparting high quality education to thousands of students in various fields of academics. Sri Venkateswara University College of Engineering is one of the colleges of Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati. At the time of its establishment, the University was imparting education under seven departments such as Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, Economics and Philosophy. As-of-now the SV University is offering top quality education to its students under 58 departments with faculty strength of over 400.
