Sri Kondandarama Swamy Temple is dedicated to Sri Rama is situated within a distance of about a kilometer from Tirupati railway station. This temple was built to commemorate the visit of Sri Rama, Laksmana and Sita to Tirupati, while returning from Lanka. The beautiful idols of this temple are very famous attractions with the tourists. The Brahmotsavam festival of Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple takes place in the Hindu month of Falgun, which falls in between March and April every year.
