The Park is famous for the treks it makes possible through pristine forests filled with mountain flowers along with spectacular views of the Himalayan peaks. These treks are a dream-come-true for wild-flower lovers, especially during March & April when Rhododendrons bloom in white, scarlet, pink & yellow, & large pink & white flowers of Magnolias appear along with a variety of orchids & birds which enliven the entire atmosphere. However, beware of Sandakfu, which is a favorite trekking destination of trekkers all over the World, is also known as the ‘Mountain of Poisonous Plants’ because of the Himalayan Cobra Lilies often seen here.
