Saputara Hills

This beautiful hill station is located in the Dang district at the southeast corner of Gujarat. It is situated at an altitude of 1000m. Saputara (the Abode of Serpents), has the Sarpagana river flowing close by that has a sacred snake image on its banks.  It is Gujarat's best-known hill resort, positioned atop the second highest upland in the Sahyadri range and amidst of thick forests. Saputara is a perfect picturesque canvas drawn with streams, lakes, hills and woodlands. At the heart of this serene hill station tourists can enjoy boating in the lake. The ropeway stationed at the top offers a panoramic view of the hills.
