Ramnagar Wildlife Sanctuary stretches over an area of 31.50 sq km and is located only 6 kilometers away from Jammu. It comprises of dense and beautiful conifer rich Himalayan terrain. The ecosystem in the sanctuary is completely balanced and characterizes the park which is the home of many endangered species. It is situated at an altitudinal height of 430 to 611 meter from the sea level. Ramnagar wildlife sanctuary is home to 15 species of birds and 8 mammal species.
