There are steps leading down from the platform in front of Mahadeo to the bridge crossing the ravine; and then more steps to the mouth of Parvatis cave. It is now a minor shrine with three idols. The road that serves both Mahadeo and Parvatis cave, becomes a trekking pilgrim trail shortly after it passes the Mahadeo access. It then leads to the mountain-top temple of Chauragarh where Lord Siva left his rrishul-trident when trying to escape from Bhasmasura. This trail is not motorable.
