Halol is a city and a municipality in Panchmahal District in the Indian state of Gujarat. Located in Western India, it has an average elevation of 499 metres (1637 feet). Halol and the nearby city of Kalol are known as a Special Economic Zone (SEZ).

There is Pavagadh which is known for the Mahakali temple. there is a Jama masjid,vadatalav near the halol-pavagadh region. The annual Van Mahotsav organized by the forest department will kick off from Pavagadh with the inauguration of 'Virasat Van' created on Halol-Pavagadh Road. It will be inaugurated by chief minister Narendra Modi. Besides creating awareness about green cover, the plantation will highlight the religious, historical, archaeological, geological and ecological significance of Pavagadh.
