This is another way to set your tour plan. After the Bandhavgarh, Kanha and Fossil National Park, you could move down east to Amarkantak, which is just a couple of hours drive to the Achanakmar Wildlife Sanctuary. Located in the bio-geographical province of the Indus-Ganges Monsoon Forest, this sanctuary is spread over a 551.55 square kilometer area. Home to a great wildlife which includes the Chital, Wild Bear, Leopard, Tiger Panther, Striped Hyena, Jackals, Sloth Bear, Chinkara, Black-Buck and many others; it has a fine forest cover located over altitudes ranging from 200 to 1000 meters above sea level.
