The museum has some exquisite sculptures which are very well displayed. In the foyer is the very beautiful dancing Ganesh. To the left is the Jaina Gallery with an 11th-12th century statue of Sambhava Nath. Beyond is the Vaishava Gallery displaying the 10th-12th century. To the right of the foyer is the Miscellaneous Gallery with a statue of a king and queen of the 11th-12th century.

The Siva Galley beyond has a huge statue of Parvati and a six-headed statue of Siva called Sada-Siva, both dating back to the 11th-12th century. There are also three stone images taken from the Chausath-Yogini Temple of Khajuraho: Brahmani, Maheshwari and Mahishasuramardini at the museum. The museum open is open from 10am to 5pm everyday apart from Friday when it remains closed.
