Description: The Institution of The Savings Bank of Southern Zala was established in 1870 and it dealt with mainly agricultutal credit operations. After it had become financially stronger, in 1881 it had a new hall bulit in ecclectic style with a very nicely ornamented facade. The three-storey building faces two streets and it has two inner courtyards. These inner courtyards were surrounded by several shops; that is why it was called the "Bazaar". The building was renovated in 1989 and got a pleasant parade court.
