Description: Situated by the Gyöngyös Creek, the over 27-acre botanic garden accommodates tree and shrub species from the temperate and frigid zones. Besides its collection and preservation activities, the arboretum is one of the research bases for plant improvement. The gerden offers various things to see at all times in the year, but it is most visited in May, when the Rhododendrons are in blossom.
