December Description: The statue of Lőrinc Szabó, famous Hungarian poet, was erected on the corner of Kossuth Square from the direction of Hatvan Street in 2002. The two-meter high figure of Lőrinc Szabó made of bronze leans against a contemporary street-lamp. He may be greeted by the citizens and visitors of Debrecen as an everyday acquaintance.
