Description: Platán Lido is nine hectares in area and offers beach volleyball, basketball, sports equipment rental as well as new and newly renovated service establishments. Toilets, bathrooms, a playground, countless restaurants and rental of beach chairs and umbrellas. In the summertime on the beach, every weekend hosts sports and cultural events such as the following: the Méta Children's Folk Dance Festival at Pentecost, the beach football championships in Borsod in July and August, the swim across the Balaton on the last Saturday in July and the Boglár Harvest Festival which is usually around August 20th.
