Description: Ferenc Medgyessy was one of the most influential masters of the Hungarian plastic arts, who expressed the beauty of the Great Hungarian Plain with robust, realistic statues. The exhibition “Ferenc Medgyessy and His Life-work” opened on the 100th anniversary of the artist’s birth in the so-called Town Master’s House, built around 1810 in Classicist style.
