Munich

A regional capital city of the Bavarian region within Germany, Munich, home to over 2.7 million people is sprawled along the foothills of the Alps. Widely recognized for its culture and architecture, Munich is famed all over the World for ‘Oktoberfest’, an annual beer festival which attracts scores of domestic and foreign visitors. Within easy driving distance from the Alps, Munich displays a continental climate which is strongly modified by its close proximity to the mountains.
