Located in the heart of Covent Garden, Food For Thought offers a daily changing menu of simple, nourishing vegetarian food, with vegan and gluten-free options. Since the restaurant opened in 1974, the menu has evolved to reflect the popularity of Asian, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavours. Three-course meals cost under 10 pounds and there is no corkage charge for BYO's. Seating is cramped and at peak times you may have to queue on the narrow stairs and be prepared to share tables, but portions are generous. The basement restaurant is air-conditioned.
