Mestrovic Pavilion

Meštrović Pavilion is a building located on Žrtava Fašizma Square (Victims of Fascism) in central Zagreb, Croatia, designed by Ivan Meštrović and built in 1938, that has served several functions in its lifetime. An art museum before World War II, it was converted into a mosque for Bosniaks under the Independent State of Croatia, to again become the Museum of Revolution in post-war Yugoslavia. As of 2006, it serves as a space for exhibitions and concerts. The mosque was eventually built in 1987, in Borovje neighborhood.
