Chiribiquete National Park is the largest national park in Colombia. This protected area occupies 12,800 square kilometres (4,900 sq mi) of the Amazon Region of Colombia. The centerpiece of the protected area is the Chiribiquete Mountains, which are the western edge of the Guiana Shield.
