The Tuol Sleng Museum also named as the Museum of Genocidal Crimes was a center for detention and torture in the late 1970. Tuol Sleng means “Hill of the Poisonous Tree” in Khmer language. This museum was earlier a high school. It was changed into a prison later when the Vietnamese War was taking place. The prisoners from all over the World were kept here as hostages. They were charged with treason. This museum has a collection of photographs and paintings of the victims. The coarse cells and the devices used for torture are the main attractions of this museum.
