Sihanouk International Airport (IATA: KOS, ICAO: VDSV), located 18 kilometres (11 mi) east of Sihanoukville town in Sihanoukville province, is Cambodia's third international airport. The airport is also known as Kang Keng Airport. The IATA code KOS dates from Sihanoukville's former name Kompong Som.

The airfield was originally constructed in the 1960s with assistance from the Soviet Union. After a long period of dormancy during and after the Khmer Rouge era, the airport formally reopened on January 15, 2007. The airport's runway had been extended to 2,500 metres (8,202 ft), which will allow it to accommodate jet airplanes such as the Boeing 737. However, since the crash of PMTair Flight U4 241 shortly before landing in June 2007, there has been no scheduled service to the airport. Cambodia Angkor Air is scheduled to start service from Angkor International Airport in Siem Reap on December 14, 2011.
