A provincial capital of Cambodia, Siem Reap is the gateway to the Angkor Archaeological Park which is World famous for the ruins of the Khmer temple of Angkot Wat. The beautiful backwaters of this region also attract tourists to this ancient capital of Angkor. Located in Siem Reap, the famous temples of Angkor were built between the 9th and 13th centuries. These temples identified as the ruins of the once important city of the Khmer empire, these temples can be visited only during the day because of the geographical placement and the position of the Sun.
