The Russian Market is an interesting place with life and vigor. It is known as the Russian market because Russians used to shop here during the 1980s. The market comprises of all kinds of antiquities-real and imitation, betel- nut boxes, silk, small statues of Buddha, jewellery mainly of silver and musical instruments. This market also hosts a collection of western outfits like Calvin Klein, Aigle, Quicksilver, etc. which are manufactured in factories near Phnom Penh. It’s a market which is a perfect place to shop and buy gifts as there are many things to see around. The Olympic Market here is a covered market on a three storey building specializing in wholesale items.
