Ratanakiri

Ratanakiri is a famous province in Cambodia known for ecotourism movement. Ratanakiri means mountain of treasure and an important industry for gem mining is located here. The best base, Ban Lung is the apt place to explore this beautiful province. There are many mesmerizing waterfalls around Ban Lung which are reachable by bikes or an elephant. The route provides wonderful views of rural villages, virgin jungle and mind blowing scenery. At Boeng Yeak Lom there is a strange 700 thousand year old jungle clad crater where swimming would be exciting. It is said that visiting Cambodia would be incomplete without trekking Ratanakiri jungle.
