Phnom Aural is the highest mountain situated in Cambodia. It is also said to be one of the remote areas of the country in Aural district of Kampong Speu Province. The mountain is full of thick vegetation and immense flora and fauna. The mountain rises to a height which is over 1600 meters. The mountain is a habitat for animals like tiger, pilated gibbon, wild cow, bush pig, etc. Phnom Aural Wildlife Sanctuary was formed here to save the diversity of the mountains. Hiking can be enjoyed here. This place is definitely charming for nature lovers.
