Crocodile Farm

The Crocodile Farm in Siem Reap is one of the major tourist attractions. It is situated on the left hand side of the road heading to Tonle Sap Lake. The Crocodile Farm has around 300 crocodiles of different sizes and forms. The crocodiles are preserved here by a Thai handbag maker. The crocodiles here are right from their birth. Once in the farm they are treated as a valuable asset. The farm has crocodile nest too. It looks like a heap of dirt at the first glance. Crocodiles usually hatch eggs in the early mornings and thus visitors who come early get to see the new born crocodiles. It also has a Crocodile Restaurant close to the gates. To reach the farm tourists need to move to the south of Sivutha Street, pass over the bridge and walk down another half kilometer. Tourists must visit this farm as it is a beautiful tourist spot.
