Cambrew Brewery

Cambrew Brewery is the one and only brewery in Cambodia producing Angkor, Bayon, Angkor Extra Stout, Black Panther and Klang beers along with certain products of Pepsi. Situated in the north of Sihanoukville City, Angkor Wat, the popular national beer brand of Cambodia is prepared here. This beer features a logo of the three towered silhouette of the Angkor Wat temple. Originally constructed in the year 1966, Cambrew Brewery was first named as SKD Brewery.

It was initially operated by the government from 1967 to 1975. Designed by Vann Molyvann, the noted architect of Cambodia, this building features a special dong raik architectural style which has the top floor overhanging to the ground floor for several meters projecting the shape of a clear triangle that supports the front part of the structure. This brewery was eventually set up in Sihanoukville simply because of the local water which is apt for brewing beer. Open for tourists on Wednesdays from 3pm to 5pm, Cambrew Brewery is always glad to receive visitors.
