The hotel was opened in 1999, and is one of the first hotels in Siem Reap. Its decor and architectural design were inspired by the rich heritage of Khmer culture, a feeling reminiscent of the Angkorian era, yet blended with the comfort of a modern hotel. It comprises a total of 193 rooms and prides itself on satisfying all travellers' needs, welcoming both families and business travellers alike. Facilities on offer to guests at this air-conditioned establishment include a lobby area with a 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, a currency exchange facility and lift access. It also offers a cafe, a bar, a TV lounge, a restaurant, a conference room and business centres. Airport transfers are available, as are postal and parcel services, car rental with driver, laundry and room services (the former for an additional fee) and a doctor-on-call. The hotel can arrange tour guides for guests and there is parking available for those arriving by car.
