New Zealand

New Zealand is an island country located in the southwestern Pacific Ocean. The country geographically comprises two main landmasses ‒ that of the North and South Islands ‒ and numerous smaller islands. New Zealand is situated some 1,500 kilometres (900 mi) east of Australia across the Tasman Sea and roughly 1,000 kilometres (600 mi) south of the Pacific island nations of New Caledonia, Fiji, and Tonga. Because of its remoteness, it was one of the last lands to be settled by humans.

Santiago

Santiago, formally Santiago de Chile (help·info), is the capital and largest city of Chile and the center of its largest conurbation. It is located in the country’s central valley, at an elevation of 520 m (1,706.04 ft) above mean sea level. Although Santiago is the capital, the National Congress of Chile meets in the coastal town of Valparaíso, 120 km to the west.Santiago was founded by Spanish Conquistador Pedro de Valdivia on 12 February 1541, with the name Santiago de Nueva Extremadura, as a homage to Saint James and Extremadura and in relation with the first name given to Chile, Nueva Extremadura. Extremadura was Valdivia’s birthplace in Spain.

Brazil

“Brazil” comes from brazilwood, a tree that once grew plentifully along the Brazilian coast. In Portuguese, brazilwood is called pau-brasil, with the word brasil commonly given the etymology “red like an ember”, The official name of the land, in original Portuguese records, was the “Land of the Holy Cross” (Terra da Santa Cruz), but European sailors and merchants commonly called it simply the “Land of Brazil” (Terra do Brasil) on account of the brazilwood trade.

Pune-Pataleshwar-cave-temple

Pataleshwar cave temple of Pune, situated just across the river on the Jungli Maharaj Road, is a heritage site for Pune with a long history dating back to the 8th century AD. A remarkable feature of the Pataleshwar cave temple of Pune is that it bears resemblance with the massive rock-cut temples of Ellora. Pataleshwar cave temple is a huge temple carved out of a single rock. The entire temple is hewn out of a single block of stone, and houses gigantic pillars, a shrine of Lord Shiva (also known as Pataleshwar) and a Nandi bull. The Pataleshwar cave temple at Pune has an exotic arrangement of circular stone at the entrance. The entrance is a sight worth seeing, as it highlights acute sense of geometry of these architects. The temple also has a wide array of seating arrangement,

Bangalore Palace, a palace located in the city of Bangalore, India is modelled on the lines of the Windsor Castle in England. The Bangalore Palace flaunts turreted parapets, battlements, fortified towers, and arches.The Palace and the grounds surrounding it are spread across 454 acres. The interiors are decorated with elegant wood carvings, floral motifs, cornices and relief paintings on the ceiling.
