Tour Plan

Rockies Multisport Adventure

Day 1: Your travels begin in Bow Valley, a dazzling region east of Banff, Alberta. Rolling out the mountain bikes, you and your fellow travelers glide alone and carefree past shimmering peaks and cascading streams. This evening, loosen up your legs in the hot tub at the Banff International Hotel, enjoy the hotel’s warm character, and savor the surrounding alpine vistas.

Day 2: Heading to world-famous Lake Louise, you don a knapsack, lace up your hiking boots and prepare for a full day of hiking among Banff National Park’s ancient glaciers, sapphire lakes and high-mountain passes. This inspiring day of hiking is complemented with a night of heavenly comfort at the historic Deer Lodge, featuring gourmet dining and an idyllic setting.

Day 3: You hike to Parker’s Ridge and Wilcox Pass, both noted for their panoramic vistas of the Columbia Icefield. Gardens of wildflowers, 400-year-old spruce forests and fossils of ancient corals line your alpine footpath as you keep a sharp lookout for bighorn sheep and other wildlife. Incredible mountain views greet you from your rooms this evening at The Crossing.

Days 4-5: You return to your bikes for a day of scenic cycling on one of the most stunning sections of the renowned Icefields Parkway, then you hike the remarkable Iceline Trail. Located in lightly traveled Yoho National Park, the Iceline is a classic route that contours the edge of Emerald Glacier, offering unique close-up views of a glacial environment.

Day 6: For the finale of our Rocky Mountain extravaganza, you board rafts for a whitewater thriller on the mighty Class III-IV+ Kicking Horse River. After your raft trip, you shuttle back to Banff to conclude your trip.
