Learn to sail or improve your skills at Offshore Sailing School’s flagship location at South Seas Plantation on Captiva Island, just 30 minutes from Fort Myers.

Most courses operate on a week-long schedule and include basic sailing, performance sailing, racing, bareboat cruising and combination courses.

Your primary classroom is on the water and, with no more than four students aboard, you receive maximum attention from certified instructors. During off-hours, enjoy the resort’s many amenities and two miles of private beach. Activities include golfing, 22 tennis courts, tarpon fishing, a complete fitness center, and of course, more sailing. There’s peaceful bird watching, world renowned beach combing and secluded paths for biking or jogging.

Award-winning restaurants make dining a delight. Your choice of luxury accommodations includes hotel rooms, one-bedroom or two-bedroom villas or homes.

Perfectly suited for all vacationers, South Seas offers a year-round children’s program, shopping and a variety of nighttime entertainment.

Offshore Sailing School also operates at several other locations, including St. Petersburg, Fla., where you can choose a three-day Learn to Sail course, a week-long Live Aboard Cruising program or a combination of the two.
