Thangbi Mani tshechu (festival) is one of the most popular festivals held in Chhoekhor Geog, near Jakar in the Bumthang Valley in the courtyard of a monastery built in 1470. It is famous for a fire dance performed by the monks of the monastery, as well as purification rituals involving fire.
