A row of 26 small houses with subterranean vaults where beer was stored is to be found on the north-western edge of Raab. Actually, these rows are typical for the wine-growing areas of Lower Austria and Styria. Called `Vintners´ Lane, they spread on the edge of townships and villages, with subterranean vaults where wine is made and stored.

This Lane is Upper Austria´s one and only. Lovingly dubbed "Kellergröppe" by the locals, the foundation of this unique lane dates back to the year 1620 when it might have been a medieval path. The vaulted cellars belonged to the local breweries who used them to store beer at a constant temperature of 8 °C.

Today, the cellars are used for a variety of private festivities and celebrations. One cellar houses a museum.
