Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre

The Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre located on the Gold Coast Highway in Broadbeach, Gold Coast was opened on 29 June 2004 at a cost of $167 million and is linked by a covered walkway to Conrad Jupiters. The Centre caters for 10 to 6,000 people, specialising in all events from small meetings and gatherings to corporate and association conferences, national and international incentives, banquets, exhibitions, concerts and sporting and special events.

The Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre has conference facilities for up to 5,500 delegates and 10,000 sqm of exhibition space. There are a total of four halls, 18 meeting rooms and four registration offices. 12 kitchens for catering are also available. The Centre is located 18.3 km from Coolangatta airport, 3.5 km from Surfers Paradise and walking distance from 1,600 accommodation rooms and the beach. Centre highlights include onsite Box Office and Ticketek, onsite audio visual services by industry leader Staging Connection, in-house marketing and public relations support and professional event management. Wireless internet access throughout GCCEC allows delegates to send and receive emails, access the internet, research projects or connect directly to their office, wirelessly from anywhere within the venue.
