Ayacucho is a town in Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. It is the head town of the Ayacucho Partido. The town is named after the Battle of Ayacucho which took place on December 9, 1824. The settlement was founded on June 22, 1866 by Zoilo Miguens. Municipal information: Municipal Affairs Federal Institute (IFAM), Municipal Affairs Secretariat, Ministry of Interior, Argentina.
