The Biskra Quakda Airport is an international public airport near Biskra Town, the capital city of the Biskra Province in the north-eastern region of the North African nation of the Democratic Peoples Republic of Algeria. Biskra is an inland town, the principal settlement of a Saharan oasis located on the northern edge of the Sahara Desert. With January temperatures in winter averaging around 11 degrees Celsius, Biskra is a popular international vacation sport during this period.

The Biskra Quakda Airport located at a distance of 12 kilometers north-northeast of Oumache, is about 200 kilometers south-southwest of Constantine City is presently owned and operated by EGSA Alger, which is an airport management services establishment of the government of Algeria operating a total number of 18 airports within this country. Situated at an elevation of 289 feet above mean sea level, this airport originally known as the ‘Biskra Airfield’ was a major United States Twelfth Air Force base, and a prominent aviation facility in the North African Campaign fighting the German Afrika Korps during the Second World War.
